Third Degree Torture

This drawing has basically two concepts:
1. Domestic Violence and Women's Rights. It is about how sadly even in today's age, a women might be treated in homes and societies at large. I have used a lot symbols in it.

2. Global Warming, Pollution and concerns about our Mother Earth. (You can see the all the symbols regarding the issue ---> fire and smoke, burns and wounds, ashes, disfigurement, materialistic buildings, parts of nature: clouds, sun, flower). It is not too late but if you don't stop now the fire of our evils will destroy everything.

We are so proud of our mothers and nature. We claim that we love them but something negative is still happening. We should stop harming them, create awareness and fight back to eradicate this ugliness or else it is only us who will suffer in long run.


PS: I don't categorize myself as a painter or traditional artist but I just took a pack of crayons and start drawing and coloring. I love the medium. This is my first ever this drawing.
